Abstract: Two finds of Lemonia spp. from the Bohemian-Moravian borderland are reported. Lemonia dumi was observed in October 2000 on an extensively managed meadow close to the village of Svinná near Česká Třebová (Eastern Bohemia). Lemonia taraxaci was found in August 2005 on an extensively managed pasture in Švařec National Nature Monument close to the village of Koroužné (Bohemian-Moravian Highlands). Both species are classified as endangered in the Czech red list and are declining due to grassland abandonment and management intensification. The habitat conditions of both sites are shortly described
Key-words: Brahmaeidae, Czech Republic, extensively-managed grasslands, faunistics, silkworm moths, threatened species
